This series was inspired by the rising homeless population in Michigan. The reality is that homelessness can impact anyone no matter their occupation, age, background, ect. It is a rising epidemic that needs to be addressed. The series reveals the harsh reality of homelessness. In order to protect and respect individuals photographed, their identities will be hidden. The photographs are the individuals are originals that I personally captured. The billboard posters are ones I designed for a call to action. It also raises awareness for a local organization that offers resources to those in need of housing assistance.
