This series was inspired by a neighborhood locally owned auto mechanic shop. The location has a missing sign, and so the only way to find the location is from Google Maps. I frequent at this location whenever I need work done, since the owner provides great deals and quality work. As a service of gratitude I wanted to redesign his logo and provide a design for an envelope for a key drop off.
The logo design focuses on the tools mechanics would frequently use. The tools include a lug wrench for the "T", a T-handle wrench for the second, "T," and a large open-end wrench for an underline. The use reference to the tools communicates a the services the company provides.
